Illustration can be used to effectively convey complex clinical and anatomic information. As a speech pathologist, you can imagine the difficulty of describing pathology to parents and clients alike. When an SLP uses a series of illustrations to help the client visualize the condition or disorder, the entire therapeutic process can be made easier to understand. In my work, I strive to create high-quality and visually interesting explanations for concepts related to communication sciences and disorders to aid in this complex communication.
