I’m a Speech Pathology student working toward my post-baccalaureate at the University of Kansas. I strive to create high-quality and visually interesting explanations for concepts related to communication sciences and disorders, and I hope to provide a space here for teachers and learners from all walks of life.

I’ve filled a lot of shoes as I’ve worked toward my CCC’s: I’ve been a preschool teacher, a first grade teacher for English Language Learners, a substitute for multiple districts at the K-12 level, and a direct support professional working with adults with intellectual disabilities. In each of these roles, I’ve met and bonded with Speech Pathologists that have helped me realize that this profession is where I’ll be able to do the most good with my talents and interests.

Wherever you are on your journey - whether you’re a gen ed teacher learning more about how to serve your students’ diverse needs, or even if you’ve already obtained those coveted C’s - please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to hear from you.
